Terms and Conditions 

1. Introduction 
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between AJC-Handy (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the client (“you” or “your”) with respect to our painting and decorating services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services 
We offer a variety of services, including but not limited to interior and exterior painting, wallpapering, and other related decorating services. A detailed scope of work will be provided in the quotation.

3. Quotations and Pricing 
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may vary based on the specifics of the project or any additional requests made after the initial quotation. All quotes will include a detailed breakdown of costs.

4. Payment Terms 
A deposit of 20% or price of materials (whichever is higher) is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via bank transfer.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling 
If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, please provide us with at least 5 days notice or before the materials are purchased. Cancellations made with less notice will result in the loss of deposit.

6. Liability 
While we strive to provide high-quality services, the Company is not liable for any damages or losses arising from circumstances beyond our control. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

7. Client Responsibilities 
You agree to provide us with access to the work area, and ensure it is free from any obstacles or hazards. You must inform us of any existing issues that may affect the work (e.g., mold, structural damage).

8. Warranty 
We guarantee our workmanship for a period of [number of months] from the date of completion. Any defects not due to faulty workmanship or materials will not be covered.

9. Governing Law 
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Amendments 
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
